Why am I not surprised to see South African cities heading up the crime index for June 2024. I cannot wait to see the latest report for the end of this year and for some reason do not expect things to change. 5 of the top 7 are from South Africa which is a telling stat highlighting how bad the economy is with unemployment at an all time high of around 55%-60% for the age group 16-34. You would expect this a how else are you going to feed your families besides getting a job.
With so many undocumented foreigners having crossed the open porous borders what did anyone expect. There are no government handouts offering free hotels and free medical along with a welcoming cell phone on arrival. This is why when you see the crime stats for European cities you have to ask why as they are being given everything for free already and that is not enough.
It is no wonder when South Africans travel over seas they actually tend to go out for walks because they feel safer. I know when we were walking around Paris in the evening we only encountered one incident which was a migrant trying to steal a locked up bike so there is still some way to go, but you would have to put money on Europe catching up. When you import the cess pool of humanity this is only a matter of time.
Bradford (UK) in 30th, Marseille (France) 39th, Coventry (UK) 41st, Birmingham (UK) 46th, Montpellier (France) 50th, Naples (Italy) 51st, Liege (Belgium) 60th, Paris (France) 70th, Catania (Italy) 71st, Malmo (Sweden) 75th, Nice (France) 76th, Athens (Greece) 79th, Brussels (Belgium) 81st, Lyon (France) 82nd, Manchester (United Kingdom) 86th, London (United Kingdom) 87th, Rennes (France) 99 and to round of the European cities hitting the crime index we have Dublin (Ireland) in 100th.
Unfortunately these stats have most likely and guaranteed to have been altered sugar coating what is the reality and which we all know. There is no excuse for this as you do not have 60% unemployment like SA has and this is what has been imported under the pretense that it is good to be diversified.
We know diversification does not work and why communities of certain race groups tend to stick together and has always been the case throughout history. If you went to Brixton (UK) back in the 1990's it was predominantly West Indian. Bradford (UK) was mainly Asian which when I was visiting on business was an eye opener, but not unexpected. Communities of the same people do tend to somehow stick together and that is normal human behavior as you feel comfortable with people you know and understand living around you.
Europe has 18 cities in the top 100 world crime index and it will be interesting to see how these change over the course of the next 5 years. With the local policing being regarded as soft and arresting social media offenders instead of the real criminals it would be hardly a shock if European cities were dominating this list come 2028/2029.
What did surprise me was that the first German city being Hanover only registered at 146 and the likes of Sweden had 3 cities in the top 150. For some reason you would never associate crime with a country like Sweden because from what I know it was never like that. I can even recall people I knew back in the 1990's who lived in Canada that bragged about that they never had to lock their doors. How times have changed over such a short period of time and this is all down to the wrong kind of migration.

Not surprised about South Africa as you have described how ineffective your policy forces are.
Immigration itself is not a bad thing, but wrong kind of Immigration could be. For example America relies on Immigration for its economic growth it also resulted in some of the most innovation in USA. But obviously wrong kind of Immigration is bad.
I should pass this article to my friend which said that Africa will be the next big economic hit. It might be, but first needs to take care of the crime rate. A long way till there...
Good evening and greetings to us together. Good and interesting article.
