Decentraland announced on their official blog that an upcoming game jam will begin on May 17 and go through June. This game jam is in collaboration between Decentraland Foundation and MetaGameHub DAO. To encourage more developers to utilize the MetagameHub DAO DCL-Edit tool, they will be offering their own set of rewards for entries created using DCL-Edit.
What is DCL-Edit?
In DCL-Edit, objects can be placed and manipulated just like in any other state-of-the-art game engine. Compared to the official Decentraland builder, DCL-Edit taps into the Decentraland SDK by providing easier access to object manipulation and other tools that are more difficult in the official tool.
Prizes for the Jam
Prizes are divided up between Decentraland prizes and MetaGameHub prizes. Those prizes include:
