Hello, Leo! My Hive Goals

Hello, Leo and fellow Hiveans!
This is my first post.
Just a quick introduction...

Thanks to the Leofinance community for onboarding me into the Hive ecosystem. I've been reading and following for quite a while.

However, I'm still not sure how best to contribute.
I usually don't say a lot. Preferring instead to take a more laid back position, and listen carefully to what is being shared.

Perhaps it will be about upvotes, or comments, or reblogs, or delegations (which I've already started). Or, maybe it could be about threading, or sharing, or even polls (since I like to ask questions).

This is most likely an investment and savings "account" for the most part.
It's the liquidity pools that are far more attractive to me.

In the end, a balanced approach is probably the best.

Small Steps Forward

Here's what I did on my first day to setup my Hive account:
(You'll probably figure out the direction in which I'm going.)

1. Powered up 50 Hive. Delegated 25 to @leo.voter. I know this is very small, but it's a small step in the right direction.

2. Staked 10 Hive worth of BXT. This supports by most important exchange BeeSwap, and earns me a small amount of Hive every day.

3. Invested the equivalent of 10 Hive on each side of 5 liquidity pools: SWAP.HIVE:LEO, SWAP.HIVE:SPS, SWAP.HIVE:DEC, SWAP.HIVE:SIM, and SWAP.HIVE:BXT. Another small amount for each, but I just want to lay the groundwork first.

4. DCity! This game is far more attractive to me than Splinterlands. I put in several dozen bids for cards that I need to start building my city. It's all about the SIM power! Let's have patience and see where this goes...

Moving Forward

Moving forward, there are four things I want to focus on:

1. Power up Leo. I'll stake this regularly on Leo Power Up Day (LPUD).

2. Power up Hive. This includes adding more delegation to @leo.voter.

3. Invest more into the liquidity pools. Long-term, this is where my vision is at.

4. Build a city. Let's have a bit of fun with DCity and earn some tokens along the way!

Every couple of weeks (when I get paid), I plan on investing a few hundred dollars into achieving each of these goals. It's a long-term plan.

Seven suggestions to consider:

1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, Keychain, Peaklock, and Hivesigner,
3. The master password and the owner key are only used to reset compromised passwords,
4. DO NOT lose your password or keys; copy and store offline,
5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
7. DO NOT OPEN any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.
