I've seen posts get basically removed from the frontends both on Hive and steem. Users too. All major frontends collaborate and share blacklists. It's pretty easy for them to wipe a user and/or their content. You can still find it in the blockchain, sure! "You can say whatever you want, but please, first disappear forever into the void, speak to the stars from 2 galaxies away, make friends with that nebula".

We can still make other frontends though! Uncensorable in that sense. No one will read it but it'll be readable. :) some react frontend posted on Vercel and forgotten would do. I've thought of doing that, but I have better stuff to do with my time.
