The Hive price is now reaching $0.35 from its price of below $0.30 not too long ago.
Is it now to take some profits or to buy more Hive? It depends on whether one see whether the bull market is coming and whether one plans to take profit, and when.
Beyond taking profits, one must not forget that there is power bestowed to those who have HP.
Who needs a reason to hodl Hive? I am giving you one.
One must always remember that Hive is no ordinary blockchain. It is a chain without VCs, and there are sufficient adoptions in the network. Things are working fine in Hive and it has been like that for a few years.
The Hive power one has is linked to how much one's upvote is worth. So in a way, the HP we hold is a sign of clout on this network.
The reason why I am bringing this up is because I wanted to remind myself how I envied those with high HP during the bull market. They could, at a click, bestow much love and value to others' posts.
Let's put this into perspective. This account I am on has about 11k HP. Each upvote I am giving is about 0.10 Hive on average. If Hive 10X, my vote strength would be 10X too.
That feels like a lot of power on this network.
Sometimes that can be a good source of feel good factor.
So, let's not forget that and keep that cheap Hive for the days it will bring lot more curation rewards!

I've been giving increasing votes by building my HP for 7.5 years. It does feel good to give a nice vote. But it comes from the reward pool and every vote microscopically reduces all other votes.
Recently I find as much pleasure, or maybe more in just giving away tokens. No effect to the reward pool. I invite you to get some from my @tokenfaucet project!

I have been increasing my HP. Whether or not the price of Hive goes up, I plan on still stacking that up. Curation is definitely a great way to increase the income.
It’s another form of mining. When I do that, it takes my mind away from doing silly things in crypto investing.
