S̶T̶A̶R̶T̶ | Pause | Look Around | Analyse | Prioritize | START!

I don't know why I am writing this but seemed important to me. For the past few weeks, everything is going crazy and it's not the kind of crazy, everyone can handle. Owing to the same group I was also a bit curious about WHAT'S GOING ON!. Momentum is shifting very quickly in both directions with every category and that's when I paused to analyze the situation. I am not talking about the market situation but my own.

PAUSE

You have probably heard that everything works but you have to start from somewhere, well I don't think it's always true because you can't just start if you have multiple options in front of you, if you are on the wrong path, or maybe if you are standing in the reverse direction, there are multiple possibilities and that's why it's very necessary to pause. To drop everything you are currently doing. This means you have to calm yourself whatever may the situation is or about to be. Take a deep breath and release it. Feel free to do whatever you want to.

LOOK AROUND

You have to see the surroundings, what's going on, what is about to start shortly because you don't want to take up a certain route which is going to be under construction the next day for a long drive. That's why you need to see for yourself or maybe for those who all are dependent on you or else for those, on whom, you depend upon because no one going to. Leave unnecessary things and manage them somehow, so that, they will not become a burden for you.

ANALYZE

This is really important and you already know that. It's not just about the market but everything around you. You have to do a comprehensive research before taking any action because there's no way back. Put continuous efforts even if they are tiny ones because every tower is literally a stack of tiny elements. And maybe you'll need support but the only support you've got is your own sheer will. Don't skip anything, don't be careless, shred away the whispers, look for concrete pillars, so that you can stand on them in case of emergency. Try to be more real, go through possible real-life scenarios because everything may be fake, but it will definitely affect the real world.

PRIORITIZE

After doing all this if you don't execute favorably then it's all going in vain. Set up your priorities, put the necessary things close by. Prepare a may go the wrong chart which will contain possibilities for unfavorable conditions with reliable supports you'll need at that moment. Keep the resources handy as well as align them. Keep a check upon everything with high focus. Make things easy to visible and understandable because you could suffer from unconsciousness. Prepare records for almost everything and yes backup those records even if you have to do it traditionally.

START

Take a look back and see if everything is ready, most importantly are you ready, physically, mentally, emotionally, financially, and relationally. Check for leftovers or if something is not within sync. Take greetings from all and be ready for anything because there's a chance for everything. Look back and appreciate all you have or that, you'll be leaving behind. And now you are ready for your next journey. Of course, there will be add ons because every journey is not the same but they do have certain basic principles.

Still not sure in what regard I wrote this but I think it sticks to multiple things!

I agree that these steps are each quite helpful, no matter what project or endeavor we apply them to.

Hopefully, for most people they're 'habitual' and done naturally when approaching any situation, but this isn't as common as I'd prefer it to be, lol.

Anyway, I appreciate this post, and I'm aiming to pause, look, analyze, prioritize, and start when ready. :) 🙏

I agree with you, most people approach a situation in this way but when you are under heavy stress or an unexpected unfavorable situation arises we react emotionally rather than analytically.
By the way, appreciate your feedback and hope that you succeed by applying those steps.

I totally agree, people often approach emotionally rather than analytically, and it causes many issues. Thanks for a great article. 🙏
