Since you mentioned games have you tried https://splinterlands.com It's #1 blockchain game (not considerign some of the gambling Dapps) you can login straight from your Hive account. Game had zero VC funding and still beat every big name blockchain game like God's Unchained on Ethereum to ashes.

Microsoft also has a partnership with WAX if I remember right. I think that is far more exciting and accessible to more people. Faster and cheaper transaction times and a price that is a virtual steal right now. This is definitely exciting for the ETH crowd and crypto as a whole if it actually comes to fruition!
