I did the research and I'm able to fetch the thread count on leofinance (excluding replies on threads).
Should that be given a try for a week and see how it goes?

Why not? Is there a way we can count those replies too. Technically, they are #threads. @dalz did a post where he noted the total number of #threads. I am not sure if that included replies to threads or not.
I spend some hours (being free) to find a way for replies but failed. Saw this by Dalz but again I don't know if this includes replies.

If I can find the thread count (replies) then alright but if I am not then following the release of the new UI, I will be making daily threads for the count of individual threads.
Something new is required, thanks for the idea!
