I guess I "still care" because this was one of my top three picks for communities that would signficantly impact the future of Hive.
I saw here, the potential for something to do a parallel thing for artists/creatives/musicians to what LeoFinance has done for the financial/crypto niche.
Yes, it takes a LOT of work; I've built communities before (not on the blockchain) and it's tough when it's essentially built entirely on sweat equity. And you do need a dedicated team... for something like this probably 8-12 people. Last project I worked on ended with an active user base of about 18,000 and we had as many as 28 volunteer "staff" members...
Tangentially related, there really is a potential business here for an ambitious coder/developer to build custom skins/front ends for tribe and communities on the Hive Blockchain.
Whereas I can lend cheerleading power and time, I can't take on a project like this... although there's another community (without a front end or token) I know well who could potentially "merge" with CCC and create something. But again, the technical and coding know-how would be the missing link... what we really need around here is someone independent with the programming/usability/design skills of @steemchiller from back on Steem.
Regardless, I'll put some feelers out, because I'd hate to see this community just slowly fade away...
