I see how it can be making a difference in the lives of some lives where the cost of living is low; but in North America where it takes $100/day to fund just the basics, not so much. I'm just grateful to be building a small "savings portfolio," and maybe in 10 years from now it'll be "something!"

That's my thinking too. We need 100 bucks a day just for the basics. It's getting expensive out there lol
