On a "meta level," what you suggest certainly makes sense!
Politics is a clearly defined niche, much like Crypto and Investing is a nicely defined niche for LeoFinance.
At this point, I am only familiar with @politicalhive which doesn't have its own front end, but just a community: https://hive.blog/created/hive-179804 which I believe was dreamed up by @holovision. However, they DO have their own hive-engine "Payment Token" (symbol: PAY) which has occasionally showed up in my wallet, but I don't really understand its criteria for distribution. But they've been around a while, and it was a "transfer" from Steem back in the spring.
It's definitely a topic that could use it's own structured community, but I have no idea how you'd encourage a community culture that results in anything but a round-the-clock verbal brawl.
But I wish you much success with the endeavor!

well half of the communities posts is @cyberdemon531 , and while I dont mind her, she hates my guts and doesnt like debating with the opposite political spectrum. Its a shame she is actually the only politics content creator I followed for some time when I arrived at hive.

I occasionally write also about politics, unfortunately the search function on Hive is not the best. There are many others, hidden in different communities like DACH, Deepdives, etc.
