Today I am here to write about my favorite topic. Yes it is none other than Leo Finance. In this post I will give a detailed discussion about LeoVerse and all the content under it. Hope after this post all the doubts related to leo finance will be cleared.
What is LeoVerse
A multi-chain decentralized finance (DeFi) project built with the intention of achieving long term sustainability while providing stakeholders with assets that could appreciate in value over time. In addition, income streams are generated by staking tokens in different ways which generates a strong APR.
LeoVerse is a world where content creators can create content on any topic of their choice. There are several projects included in Leoverse. They are discussed below :-
What is Leofinance.io
The flagship of the entire project is Leofinance.io, which is the social media application. This is a long form blogging platform designed in the style of Seeking Alpha. However, this is a Web 3.0 application, being built on the Hive blockchain.
Users can earn tokens and coins for their activity. All articles posted are eligible for author rewards. This can come in the form of the blockchain's native coin $HIVE along with the $LEO token.
Leofinance uses Hive's Proof-of-Brain mechanism. This provides both content creators and curators with the ability to participate in the ranking of on-chain content. Curation is done by the community, each with voting power based upon how many coins and tokens are staked. As one's staking amount grows, so does their ability to direct rewards. All voting is done over a 7 day voting window. After the period is complete, rewards are distributed to the wallets of all involved in the process. The author gets their rewards while each curator gets paid for the upvotes given. The calculation and distribution of the rewards are done by the network. This automates the transaction process. Leofinance can be thought of as a tokenized, permissionless Seeking Alpha.
Hive is a decentralized database. In true Web 3.0 fashion, all data posted to Leofinance is written to the blockchain. This makes people's content immutable. Couple this with full account ownership and it is easy to see the appeal to content creators.
I will now share with you several projects including LeoVerse, through which content creators have taken a step forward on the Hive Blockchain.
LeoThreads
Now I am talking about my most favorite thing in LeoVerse. LeoThreads is a recent addition under the Leofinance umbrella. This is bringing microblogging to the Hive ecosystem. It is part of the Leofinance site although any application on Hive can incorporate it. The idea of LeoThreads is to develop Twitter on the Blockchain. By using a decentralized, immutable database with account ownership, one cannot have his or her data removed. This is not the case with Web 2.0 platforms such as Twitter.
All of us have created many threads to complete quests after the Zealy Campaign started. But now it has become a habit of ours. On our busy days, we don't get time to write Long Form posts. Then a user can easily express his feelings through threads. I think it's the most amazing invention that belongs to the Hive Blockchain.
A new Leofinance.io User Interface (UI) is being developed that will put LeoThreads at the forefront. It was launched on the 1st May. And it is being updated day by day.
Hivestats
A website that allows Hive users to monitor and track their activity on the blockchain. This also contains vital information pertaining to their account.

A decentralized finance (DeFi) exchange tied to Hive-Engine which is a sidechain of Hive. This allows for the swapping of Layer 2 tokens with each other on Hive Blockchain. You can control all layer 2 coins included in Hive blockchain through this website. You can do all trading and sticking by logging into your wallet.

How to Login to LeoFinance.io
To login to LeoFinance.io, users just need to get a Hive blockchain account. There are several ways to do that and if you'd like to get a free account + a delegation of currency to help grow your account, you can sign up with Hiveonboard. Once you get a Hive blockchain account, you have two methods available for logging in to LeoFinance.io. The first is to login using your private key. This is one of the keys that came with their Hive account when they created it.
Be very careful with how you store and use these keys. Each key unlocks a different level of security to your account. To login to LeoFinance for blogging/commenting/upvoting purposes, the private posting key is recommended. Your private active key is required for transferring $LEO or $HIVE and managing other wallet-related functions. Use the private active key more sparingly as it controls the funds in your account. Just like a password or PIN number to your bank account, it is obviously a bad idea to let these keys fall into any hands that aren’t your own.
The other option for logging in to LeoFinance.io is to download and install a browser extension called Hive Keychain. This is the recommended way to login to most Hive-based applications. It’s a pretty straightforward process. Once you have Keychain installed on your browser, it becomes FAR easier to use things like leofinance.io, leodex.io, hivestats.io and any other Hive-based app.
- Buy $LEO
Buying and holding LEO can have a lot of benefits. There are a few different places where you can buy LEO. Firstly, you should get yourself a Hive blockchain account. Similar to having an Ethereum address in order to hold ERC20 tokens, having a Hive blockchain account allows you to hold Hive tokens like LEO. LeoDex is a Hive-based exchange interface that the LeoFinance project operates. On this exchange, you can login with your Hive account and then trade hundreds of Hive-based tokens like LEO.
Stake $LEO
To stake your LEO tokens and vest them as Powered Up LEO, just head over to your wallet page and click the LEO amount in your wallet and then select *Stake" from the dropdown. It will open a pop-up window that will allow you to select the amount of LEO you want to stake. To stake LEO, just login to LeoDex using your Hive account and then click the “padlock” icon to the right of your LEO balance. You’ll then be prompted with a popup window that will ask for your Hive username followed by the amount of LEO that you want to stake. Staking $LEO gives you more influence over rewards on the LeoFinance platform.Send $LEO
To send LEO, just head over to the same wallet page and click your LEO and then select Transfer from the dropdown window. Then you’ll get a popup where you can choose:To :- what Hive account to send your tokens to
Amount :- how many tokens you want to send
Memo (optional) :- you can send a public message with the transfer, but it is optional.
You can also send LEO using LeoDex by using the same wallet page mentioned above.
