Introduction
So for those who have come over from the reddit post on altas earth my name is daddyspardan
I'm from the uk im 36 years young,
i'm a father of three and me my wife and all three of our boys are on the autism spectrum
I’m also a gamer and currently a big fan of extractor shooters, mainly Escape from tarkov, i do a daily post of my progress latest post here
But today i wanted to discuss my latest passion which is the game altas earth
ATLAS: EARTH is a mobile-first gaming experience where you can buy "real world" plots of virtual land on the actual planet. These plots will pay you rent in $USD every second of the day. The rent is in $USD and is normally generated in the amount of $.0000000015 per second, this doesn’t seem like a lot but the idea is to gather many plots of land in order to increase these earning and also they are the chance to increase this rent amount by watching ads and getting a boost for these earning as part of this.
Current status
I have been playing for the last 2 months and in that period of time i have managed to get roundabout 56 parcels of land, this in turn without any boosts will generate roughly 0.007 $ which is roughly $0.02 every 3 days which with every day im purchasing more and therefore increasing the earning potential
Now i have been buying virtual land here
It a local park where i live and usually visit it every day to walk my dog. So access to this large area with purchase potential is a good thing to have as with the amount needed i will need to space to expand and buy out the whole park for my resolution this year
My New years resolution
So one of the advantages of holding a lot of parcels in this game is that if your in the local area hold the highest amount you get a title based on the area,
Mayor for having the most in a town
Governor for holding a state/local area
President for having the most in a country
These have the benefit of every time a person buys a badge for the passport if it is for the local area it resides in you get a percentage of the altas bucks used to buy it back for owning that area, including if you buy it yourself
Now in my area of Lancashire It is held by user D_A_RAMES who at the moment of writing this has 473 parcel, My goal for this year is to beat that number and become the governor of Lancashire, if not then be in the top 5 of the local area towards that goal and hopefully with the announcement of changes this should be possible
Dual methods of earning
Joining this article with hive and reddit will mean that potentially earning on both will be increased, and as with the news of crypto withdraws and possible deposits in the future this may open the lane for both of these to fuel the other.
Alta earth the plan was to use this for every $20 i earn i would withdraw and put into my HBD saving for long term goals and plans so this year i hope to earn $50 for HBD saving but more will be welcome indeed :D
With hive the interest of many alta players could bring them over here where they ability to build a community further could flourish, and if there is enough interest i would be willing to create a sub community on hive for people on alta earth to call home as well :)
My future
With the hive price going up and looking like it not gonna stop any time soon, it a good time to be earning from all sorts of revenues and to use these revenues to the maximum potential possible
