Fun day already. $1300 to fix my garage door which had both springs snap yesterday, and now one of my dogs cracked a nail down by the nub, so I'm sure a nice fat veterinarian bill is on its way shortly. Is LEO at $1 yet? 😅

Aww man. Too bad about your dog... and your garage. I had never heard of a spring snapping like that till it happened to a neighbor last summer. Crazy.
It might have something to do with the fact that it was 20 below zero here the other night. Things tend to get brittle in those temps. 😅 That said, the repair guy said they usually last 4-12 years up here. These were 8 years old so...right about average I guess.
Dang! I don't envy that cold. Well hopefully it will last longer this time around.
Well, part of the reason it cost as much as it did is that I got the parts that came with a lifetime warranty, so hopefully I never have to use it.
