RE: Decentralized Money Is The Future

That really is a great analogy. It makes total sense. As much as we talk about the fact that crypto will change the world, it's sometimes difficult to see it actually happening while we're engaged inside of it on a day-to-day basis. It's hard to see the forest for the trees.

Only by stepping back and viewing it in relation to where it was 5 years ago and 10 years ago, or even just 1 year ago, do we see how far it has actually come and how much is actually happening.

Look at market caps, for instance. We went from millions to billions to a trillion and now 2 trillion. It blows through a number and then contracts and finds a level until people get used to it and then it makes another leap. The next leap could very well take it to 5 trillion or beyond.

There's a perfect example happening in about 24 hours. PolyCUB could expand the market cap of crypto by a few million dollars in the blink of an eye and if Khal is right, it could be more like tens of millions.

You're right, in 5 or 10 years we could very easily be looking back on these times thinking about how silly it was to ever doubt where we're going.

I think Splinterlands and CyberX blew out about $4 million in a very short period of time. That is how quickly things can grow.

So yes, when we step back, we see a major difference compared to what was in place. We see how information and communication changed. This will happen to the monetary system too.

What is CyberX? it's a name I've heard before, but I'm not sure what it is.
