Yes, some of these rewards cards can be very useful in many different rulesets. For me, the Pelacor Conjurer has probably been the biggest helper. I use that as my first card a lot. With good speed, flying, and magic reflect, I use it with Lorna Shine to soak up most of the opponents first round hits and oftentimes it survives into the 2nd and 3rd rounds allowing my backline cards to deal 2 or 3 hits each before they become endangered. I've won many battles that didn't look good when the lineups come up, only to almost completely wipe the other side without losing a card.
