I’ve been meaning to make this post for awhile, but I just haven’t taken the time to do it until now. Better late than never I suppose, right?
Today I am hoping that I can rely on the community of people that I’ve grown to know so well on Hive to assist me with something very important. I am usually pretty uncomfortable asking for support like this, but I know there are some things I just cannot do alone. Plus the fine people of Hive are usually excited to lend a hand, especially if there is a bounty at stake.
What is this about❓
You see I have this really amazing girlfriend named @flowerbaby, and she loves creating art in the form of jewelry and home decor. I have witnessed her work hours and hours on just a single creation. She has hundreds of items currently listed for sale on her @flowersaur Etsy shop. She has put in so much work on all of her unique creations and I really want her to be able to rely on her hard work as a solid source of income.
@flowerbaby has seen some success here and there, but it has not turned into anything consistent quite yet. It’s very hard to gain traction in the Etsy world, but I know for certain that her items will be desired by many if only she were to be discovered by the masses.
@flowerbaby has done multiple in-person craft shows, such as this one. There hasn’t been as many events as usual during this past year, it has been a difficult time to start a business that’s for sure.
I designed her a custom logo, packaging, shipping items, and business cards. So her branding is on point and is very professional looking.
@flowerbaby has also tried purchasing ads and using premium Etsy software to better optimize her store to be found in search results. Both of those have only provided minimal results. She is still waiting on that chance to be seen by a large group of people.
How can you help❓
There are several things you can do, depending on how much time you have. You could do just one, or ALL of the following:
- The best way to help her store gain more visibility would be to share her Etsy shop link with everyone that you know.
Her Facebook Page is a great place for you to stay up to date with her latest releases. You could give it a like and invite your friends to like her page as well.
You can follow her on Instagram and shower her posts with likes and positive comments.
She has a Twitter account that you can follow.
Retweet my tweet about this post.
- Maybe even buy something from her store if there is an item that interests you. Her creations make great gifts for a female companion. She usually only ships within the USA. However if you want to pay for the shipping, international orders will be available. I’m mainly just looking for help to promote her brand. I do not expect you to spend any money, unless you just absolutely cannot resist.

Back when @flowerbaby and I first started dating last year, it was still warm weather and we were outside all of the time. During that time period we filmed this really awesome video to promote her @flowersaur brand. She had just started selling her items online around that same time.
I love how the video turned out and it brings back many awesome memories from last year. It took awhile for me to edit, but I wouldn't change a thing about it. You can really tell that @flowerbaby truly enjoys what she does with her @flowersaur brand.

I just never know how people will react when I ask for something. Some are offended and other want to help right away.

That's a great question. She has tried TikTok, but hasn't kept consistent with posting there. I haven't heard her mention Pinterest much. I know she's used it for other things, but I'm not sure if she's posted her work on there. I have heard her talk about getting some attention on Reddit, but not quite enough to result in daily sales yet.

I do my best to keep her motivated, but she does a great job on her own. I’m sure she does get frustrated knowing she works so hard and often people don’t see what she has done. The thing is I know what she creates is awesome and I do believe that over time more discovery will come her way. While we are working towards that day, her skills are being honed.
