The shortest month is behind us and its time to check it out how did the top Hive earners performed. It was an overall positive month for Hive, with some HBD and Hive price action happening.

Here we will be looking at the overall inflation distribution for HIVE, looking at the following
- Authors rewards
- Curators rewards
- Witnesses rewards
- DHF/DAO rewards
- Cumulative rewards
Top Authors
Here is the chart for the top 20 Hive authors that earned the most in the month.
Note: These are not totally accurate numbers because there is a conversion on VESTS to HIVE, for simplification. Also some of the top beneficiaries like the hbdstabilizator, reward.app and 3speak are excluded.
I have made a breakdown in the author and beneficiary rewards.
Author rewards are one of the most know in the blockchain as a lot of users are attract for them.
@taskmaster4450le is on the top, followed by @edicted and @oflyhigh.
There is around 10k accounts that have received rewards in February 2023. The average authors reward is around 70 HIVE.
Note that the top beneficiaries account are not included in the list as the @hbdstabilizer, @reward.app, @spk.beneficiary.
Top Curators
Here is the chart for the top 20 Hive curators that earned the most in the month.
@appreciator is on the top here, followed by @ocdb and @alpha.
The account above are the biggest curators on the Hive blockchain. Hope they will do a great job in curating and making this place grow.
Top Witnesses
The top witnesses’ earnings charts look like this.
I have included more than 20 accounts in this chart to show the drop in earnings after the 20th spot. The top 20 are earning around the same amount of HIVE (HP), around 10k per month.
There seems to be a healthy competition among witness now, especially around the 20th spot.
The DHF/DAO Payouts
Accounts that received funding from the DHF/DAO in the period.
DHF workers are paid in HBD, and the numbers above are in HBD.
A total of 17 accounts received funding in February 2023.
The @valueplan is on the top here by a lot. This account takes funds at once, that are then used for multiple projects throughout the year. @peak.open and @ecency follows.
Note on the special @hbdstabilizer. I have excluded this account from the here, since it is dominant on the top, with 5.2M HBD received in the month, but since technically it’s not keeping those funds, it is excluded from the list.
Top Earners Cumulative
From the data above we can compile the payout for a single ranking on overall top earners on the Hive blockchain in February 2023.
Here it the chart.
Note: These are not totally accurate numbers because there is a conversion on HBD to HIVE implemented, and VESTS to HIVE, for simplification.
I have separated the different earnings for the top accounts accordingly.
The @valueplan account is the leader this month with the DHF payments. Th curation accounts @appreciator and @ocdb are in the top as well. The curation and the DHF category are dominating in the top 20 HIVE earners list.
All the best

P.S. Most of the Hivers want to check the author rewards so here is a longer table with the top 100.

It becomes a way of life after a few years. Everyday is another challenge looking for an interesting topic whether it be at work or chatting to someone or general research.

it is as well a lot of work for all these people.
And we all love to read and consume this content. So, a big thank you from me to all this content creators.
Thanks for this useful stats
Very curious what this number would be without the top 100! Guess it would drop astronomically!
Yes it will, probably around 10 or less
This is really amazing.. they did well despite the fewer days we had in February.
Wishing them a greater achievement this month
This is very informative post having amazing statics and it is a motivational also for hive users. Thanks for sharing.

I wish I can be on the top earner list but I'm not in a rush. I'm sure its their hard work that got them there.
Though I have been doing my best but I'm not earning much. I wish someone can give some tips to me I can use.
That's very informative stats and congratulations to the topers.
Man I should make my goal to surpass 70 Hive monthly! and some of the guys earning 1k Hive is equivalent to almost $500, a respectable salary in certain countries.
Nice insight.

Funny I was surfing through hive and came across this post. This is very informative. Thank you!
I love this about blockchain that you can track all of the data and its public
As usual , your stats are always well detailed and interesting to view.

Great job and such a help to get some more transparancy
