To be in business you must always look for ways to execute things. Being positively minded is very important, one has to move from 'I can't' to 'can't I?. You must observe these two words carefully; one is an underestimation, the other is a challenge and you are always left to pick the one that suits you. If you choose the latter then the preceding question will be 'how can I?'. This is where things always start to unravel.

Maybe I have been hearing it but never paid that close attention. I do now, the days of knowledge and its proper application is drawing nearer and nearer and I have to comply if I am to hit my target on time.
We successfully acquired a new 8 in-1 heat press machine. Maybe I will have to spend some time and craft out articles about it. Till then, I must say I and the entire company are happy. Maybe I am the happiest, being the forefronter of a business is not an easy task. All eyes are on you to make it work despite the harsh economy or slow market as the case may be. The idea here is to open our business up for more opportunities. We are really out this year for big contract. I am hoping that God will not let us down.

So yes, we are gradually pushing ourselves into the field of branding. One machine has been grabbed, many still remaining. Did you note the 'many still remaining?', adding to that, the prices of these machines are very high. From getting the printing machine we are planning on buying a plotter and not to even talk about a monogramming machine. The price is not here, it is big (naturally but not in faith) for us right now. Monogramming also suits what we are doing, so how are we going to be able to keep both customers when they show up?
Affiliation power
Being an entrepreneur is decided on how good you are at thinking out a problem. The solution currently has been to affiliate with another business that has such capacity. Adding to that, their years of experience is also adding to help us grow. So I struck a deal with this company telling them we would love to work with them and achieve a common goal. It's a win-win if I must say, I will be handing over my monogramming and plotting work for them, and they'll be delivering me as their affiliate for as long as we hope to grow and have all this equipment.
It is a big opportunity to learn and get much more exposure ahead of time. I met their manager and discussed everything and how we will also be of help to them and as quickly as I was surprised to see it, the deal went through. Does this mean I am a good dealer? Of course, approach matters and I suggest it added a lot. When you have a reputation that means business, people are likely to take you seriously. Secondly, I never entered there as if I was a beggar with nothing to offer, don't you think their manager is smart too?.

What do I mean here? He saw our reputation as an upcoming business with some years of experience. This is an easy catch to benefit from the external market. Do you know how much they stand to gain should I be bringing in those big contracts? To be sincere, they will even be making more bucks than us. Nevertheless, this is not what to consider from here since all my client will be under my subjection. They have more equipment than us and they are reaping their long term effort.
This is also easing some of my stress. At least for now, I won't be bothered about recruited staff or a contract worker, they will take care of that for me. I must say, affiliation is sweet only if you can play your part and take advantage of every opportunity. This is something I just discussed with my co-partner and marketers, we need to prove to them that we are worth their time. It still boils down to marketing to get that needed audience and pull out good deals week in week out.
To conclude, let me add, one needs to make the most of both what he has and what he does not have to push business further. As a small or growing business, it is always difficult to access the needed funds and buy all that is needed. Learning to affiliate with a bigger business can be a game changer. We will get there yet you shouldn't fold your hands and wait, it is much advisable to work with those that are already there.
