Ok, I have to give it straight here, one of the reasons I started business was because of this. Not everyone loves to wait for a paycheck after 30 days. To worsen the matter, you may even get paid two weeks later. You know what this means? Adding to that, if the pay is very poor then you are down with it. Get prepared for debt upon debt, the fear of getting out of debt will so grip you that you will wish never to quit your job despite any inconveniences.
I was seriously in debt when I was working with the added fact that I hate to manipulate to make unethical money out of customers. The pressure was really high, at some point, you will see a deficit reflected in your accounting for cash shortage and you will know that the current month is just you working as an exercise, hahahaha. Funny to say yet to be frank, painful to have it as an experience. This was one of the reasons I never loved a job, I couldn't get my money in time to plan ahead. I was always bothered.
Fastforwarding, I later resigned to focus and grow my business. It has not been one easy task added to the current flaring of our economy. I never saw this coming yet I have to develop a thick skin to combat the situation. Am I currently in debt? Of course, yet the difference is clear. Being in debt as an entrepreneur is something very different. If I get some cash from people within, it is to use it and solve a need in my business.

Secondly, I have a high chance of paying and they also have that confidence that I will be able to pay back even if not on time. Seriously I always to avoid being in debt but I guess I have to get used to it (good debt I mean). Anything out of this is just a rat race. This was my former problem as a worker, ALL debt was spent on personal matters. I do not live a lavishing life so you know what it means for me to still be in debt. There are primary expenses you can't avoid and when the inevitable unexpected crashes in (emergent health condition or cash shortage and anything similar) then I am well squeezed.
As it stands NOW, as an entrepreneur, I am not limited on how much I can make in a week. I am still climbing the revenue ladder anyway yet to be more precise, I am more opened for opportunities. Just like late last year when I was thinking of how to generate enough cash to solve a pending problem which was to help promote our brand. I was just hopeful that something big was going to come my way. All of a sudden, one call was able to summarize the matter. I got a contract that changed the entire scenario.
How would I have been able to solve this if I was job dependent? I am not against having a day job, what I am adding to this is this; you need to generate means to trigger daily cash flow. Not all of us will end up large entrepreneurs yet I have heard of a word like solopreneur. Without cash flow, you are having a very narrow future, you can't make decisions because you are full of uncertainties. What happens if you lose that job? What happens if your salary gets slashed or you face a debit.

We have seen many economic uncertainties to even add to that. I am very happy a lot of us are coming to the understanding that a job alone will not scale. So who is an entrepreneur? Let me come home a little and avoid that large grammar. Anyone who earns money daily without waiting for a paycheck. That's how you have to first access yourself. On another definition, you can say someone who is able to secure a transaction anytime without it being tied to the routine 30 days payment.
This is where hope is triggered, there is always an assurance that a positive thing can happen at any time of your life. As I earlier said, I am in debt yet anytime I step out into the office, the debt pile is declining. As I am speaking, there is one tangible contract I am working on securing, I never even saw this coming. Someone I least expected said I should give him a little proposal to present to his team. I just did that and I am waiting for feedback( praying it turns out positive).
To conclude, let me add, even if you are not able to get something out of this article, be sure to reread that definition I gave about an entrepreneur. The economy is no longer favorable to those under that '30 days money paycheck' which gets worsened with bad salaries almost everywhere. Increase your chances of earning a living by making sure you have access to assets and transactions on a daily basis. It has been a game changer for entrepreneurs even during difficult times.
