It's a new month. Happy April! The first day of a new month means a Hive Power Up Day. So, today we do some Power Ups. Earlier today, I was able to Power Up some Hive. This is my first Power Up since being on this blockchain for some few months. It felt really good powering up some Hive.
here on it as well. I find his instructions and directives resourceful regarding this.After understanding and realising the importance of powering up to the growth of the blockchain, I didn't hesitate this time. In fact, I was eager to see the first day of April come so I could do this long awaited Power Up. A good understanding of what powering up does to the Hive ecosystem made me desire to participate in it. I'm grateful to my onboarder @ovey10 who made good efforts to make me see the need to Power Up. He made a post
Also, kudos to @hivebuzz also for the encouragement to participate in this. After reading through the recent post on April Power Up Day and the rewards attached, I felt much inclined to do this Power Up. And so, earlier today I powered up 20 Hive. It might not be huge but it's a step for me; who I see as still growing on the blockchain. I hope to do more Power Ups within the month and do a bigger one on the next Power Up Day.
The personal benefits of powering up my Hive Power was also made clear to me. I understood what it meant to my growth on the blockchain and my earnings as well. Also, to be able to have a better say in the Hive governance, I mean those are some things I'll like to see happening. Helping to put votes to proposals and witnesses is a great reason to be enthusiastic about this Power Up. And also, the ability to help others grow through better curation. That all should be the desire of every true Hiver.
Well, this is the first for me and it's certainly not going to be the last. More Hive Power Ups coming along the way and through the journey on the blockchain. Powering Up is necessary for the growth of the Hive ecosystem and for one's personal growth and benefits as well.
