RE: Seizing the Crypto Bull Run for Financial Freedom -- Advanced Reader Copy Now Available, HERE FOR HIVERS! Aprovechando la carrera alcista de las criptomonedas por la libertad financiera: copia para lectores avanzados ya disponible! [ENG/ESP]

I think that is the thing that is missing from the discussion on onboarding -- yes, people are going to come here for crypto, and there is no point in pretending it is going to be otherwise, but if we can help them understand coming in that ENGAGEMENT IS KEY and finding a home to settle into as a good neighbor is necessary to their success, I think there will be less disappointment for everyone. Hive benefits and so will Hivers old and new this way, and some of these arguments around here can stop and we can move forward .... I do not delude myself that I can actually can stop all that, but I am trying to be responsible for those I can influence.

It is truly the case. My biggest successes onboarding were @hetty-rowan and @whywhy and @karinxxl all being great members.. but far too many I onboarded didn't feel the enthusiasm I did while I can't even imagine NOT checking Hive anymore.

We can guide these people, if they land in a friendly environment, that surely helps!

It is a challenge of great personal discipline for me not to be constantly checking Hive so I can get other stuff done (like this book) ... but this is probably a question of people finding what suits their interest and people who are friendly around that interest, and also how much dynamism people have to spare for a platform more challenging than just easy clicks and views ... there is so much to do before also seeing all the rewards beyond the money right now ...
