Guided by good curation, #Hive will provide the highest quality human-created content for generative Internet of the future.

For this to be working we need:
-not supporting generative content on Hive
-reputation system
-marking AI accounts

Sort:

Completely disagree.

Layer-2 is going to monetise content and then drive that revenue into their token.

Revenue is what's going to drive 'quality'.

Who is going to be at reception of this content if anybody can generate all their wishes? Internet for robots by robots? Where is value there? Its shitty even as source of data...

Value is a human thing.

AI generated content is going to be a part of this whether you like it or not.

It might be part, sure. But it provides 0 value as a content in current shape and form. Possibly generative, tokenized layers 2, this is going to be huge for sure. Not AI-opponent here.

not supporting generative content on Hive

I think this is the bare minimum that could be done. The reputation system and marking AI accounts may just be costly to maintain and can be circumvented much like how our base layer Hive rep doesn't mean much.

I like Hive with more "personal content" even if not everyone is good at blogging but the effort to at least try is something I can appreciate at least. If there is room for AI related content, I think discussions and probably some mix of personal effort and integrating AI output in the finished product can work. Just not the flat out factory churned AI content where people just get lazy and release the content as is.
