RE: Hive Sucre: Nine Businesses, One Street, And Beyond [Subtitulos en Español]

This is fantastic. While it might seem counter-intuitive when trying to build a global network, in fact a hyper-local marketing effort is much more likely to be effective. The network effects of money are like 90-95% local. If we can get a local community using Hive, even at just the scale of a neighborhood or the catchment area of the businesses on this street, it is much more likely that we can develop a small scale but self sustaining economy than the alternative (advertising directed at a larger population).

The Hivesucre community is actually almost concentrated in this site, so it is a strategic point to carry this.

It is the place with the most economic movement, and easy access.

That is why we focused from the beginning on working in this area, and little by little with a lot of work and effort we were able to generate the confidence for the adoption of HBD.

None of this has been easy by any means, it has been months of non-stop work in the street.

For that reason you see the purchases very moved in these establishments.

This is a great point
