One of the things that stagnancy does to us is to create the illusion that anywhere is better than where we are stuck in.
Lol isn’t that truly the case though? I think this illusion is a much needed driving force to keep pushing. We would fall off without it.
Nevertheless, this doesn't change the fact that every day there are people who defy the odds.
The odds are very difficult to beat especially coming from a system designed to keep you down. One thing for sure though is that you won’t be beating any odds if you don’t have fire burning in you to come up and be great.
Yeah, it creates this illusion in the mind and sometimes it propels us, but the downside is that what propels us can create haste, which causes bad decisions on our end, even if the initial plan was to make progress.

You're right about beating the odds, it's not everyone who can bring out that superhuman ability, but when people do, it's beautiful
