Lucky for me I drive a 2002 honda accord that I purchased about 14 years ago for 5k and I have had very few problems. But these numbers sound about right for the new car buyers.

My older Prius is a 2009, which I bought used in 2016. The newer one is 2012, which I also bought used in 2023. The first was super reliable and is still running, just uglier.
Those 01 civics are a hot commodity these days!
