#historyonleo #onthisday On February 18th 1932 Japanese form puppet state of Manchukuo in Manchuria, northeastern part of China occupied one year earlier. Puyi, the last emperor of China from Manchurian Qing Dynasty, is installed as head of state, and, later emperor. Manchukuo will be recognised by number of Latin American countries, Axis powers and Soviet Union in 1941. The state ceased to exist following Soviet invasion at the end of WW2, after which its territory was returned to China.
