It is scary to think about how much of our data is in the hands of giant companies. It's our data, yet it belongs to the companies who sell them to advertisers at a huge profit.
With AI, it has gotten worse... Teaching cookies, monitoring online habits and money spending activities... All these data, gathered and sold to the highest bidder..
Blockchain seems to be a breath of fresh air for data privacy and security as well as ease of access by authorized personnel. One area where Blockchain would make a massive difference is in the healthcare system.
It seems like once in a few years, the NHS systems get hacked and patient data become very vulnerable... Blockchain can make that a thing of the past.

That is why getting as much on blockchains is crucial. As for the cookies and things, individual websites is actually spreading the data out. That said, it is what is in the hands of Big Tech such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, X, and a few others.
Those are the ones to watch out for. British Telecom is not much of a threat even though they have all that is on ones phone.
