Leo is an enviable community that isn't afraid to work hard!

But it's much more complicated for our human brains to understand that general, community, abstract results that rely on our participation to thrive, are actually better than receiving personal, individual, concrete results that benefit ourselves and only ourselves.

I especially found that with the newbies who have nothing to give but themselves. By the time they are something, they are already in the mode to give back, usually not worrying so much about what they would get out of it, especially if you give them a boost with things that are important in the beginning. Attention, showing the way, and good direction. They will take advice more readily before they get to know everything.

I probably said this all wrong, but, I think that passage right there says it all.
