I think the decentralized nature of Hive is both a blessing and a curse. It is a boon to content creators that they can create whatever they want without fear of censorship. The drawback is that there are fewer ways to monetize the content outside of the token rewards. I think #inleo is doing a good job of running focused ad content to bolster the reward pool paid to creators.
the Youtubers or the Tiktokers are making a living through those platforms.
One thing I'll say here is that only the top performers really make a living from making content. Proportionally, I think Hive enables more people to earn some value and is more evenly distributed among all of the contributors.
