As you all know, I love to work out and it has been part of my life for the past two years but I noticed something, and that thing is if I'm working out and I am distracted, maybe by phone or somebody was talking to me and it was taken so long, after a few minutes, the zeal to continue the work out will just die, and most times, I won't be able to match up the pace I started with. This has happened to me many times just because I was distracted or feeling relaxed.
This happens every time in a real-life situation where you feel tired, and decide to take a day off or two days off and some people will even take months off, and by the time they get back, they can't meet the demand of the level that they are again just because the zeal has died down, and they lost their hunger in the process.
Some of us are distracted by the success we had. Some of us are just tired because we have been working so hard and we need rest, and to some people, it's just their peer group that distracts them from being focused, but all these things happen to everybody particular time. But one thing that we must always be cautious of is taking so much time off and feeling too relaxed before we make a decision.
Not too long
When people achieve something extraordinary, Maybe they are the 1st in their family to achieve that goal or the first person in their society ever to reach that height. The first thing that comes to their mind is that they want to relax. They are carried away by the success and for some of us, it is the positivity around what we've achieved that distracts us because now everything feels so good. We can now get anything we want, so we feel relaxed, and there is nothing bad with relaxing but we relax for so long that we lost our touch.
The truth is, if you leave your farm for so long, the weed will grow there. It will take extra work for you to clear off the weed before you plant. That is why it is very, very important not to take so long when we are resting.

Yes I agree, Thank you for the reminder.
Distraction can be dangerous, particularly to someone who is doing a job that requires 100 percent attention. This happens to me too, whenever I'm engrossed with my work and someone just brings out a discussion, i often lose interest or better still tell person that is distracting me that I'm busy so i won't lose focus.

The longer the rest we take, the more momentum we lose. And gaining back that momentum will always be hard. Better to slow down a bit but not stop completely.
Fact, you just said something people usually do. In some instances, once most people get a certain amount of money they just feel like they have arrived and start spending extravagantly, forgetting about tomorrow, until they are been swept off their feet then they come back to their senses
We keep working consistency. No time to rest for long
I agree that being distracted or slacking off it unproductive. I find myself doing that sometimes until the deadline comes around then I rush to finish it.
