Hard work can make you a genius

I used to feel like it would be tough talented people talented in a particular field. They were great at what they did, and comparing myself to them always made it seem impossible. Sometimes things seem that way just because you haven't tried it yourself. When I lived in Ondo town, I used to play basketball because someone encouraged me to. I would often go to the basketball court just to watch people play, and I became interested. But I was scared that I wouldn't be able to reach the level of the other players.

I listened to a friend of mine who encouraged me to play basketball, and from there, I started developing myself. Within months, I had improved so much that I was already outshining the people I used to look up to. This doesn’t come as a surprise because I put in a lot of work. I was the first person to arrive at training and the last person to leave, even though there were still people who were more talented than me. I became one of the most important team members, all because I put in the hard work. Sometimes all you need is to start and the consistency to keep going.

You need more

Talent is great, but not everyone is born with it. Some people achieve excellence through hard work and setting high standards. Some don't believe in talent and think that consistent practice and hard work can help you achieve anything, which is true in my case. I believe that reaching your full potential requires hard work and dedication, regardless of your natural talents. Talented individuals may seem to perform magically, but without hard work, they may struggle to compete with those who dedicate a lot of time to their development.

Talent is undeniably powerful, but it alone cannot guarantee success. Many individuals fail to reach their full potential because they do not put in the necessary hard work. On the other hand, those who may not possess the same level of talent can surpass others by putting in the required effort. While talent provides an advantage, it does not guarantee excellence. Relying solely on talent may result in remaining at an average level indefinitely. In the professional arena, where most individuals work diligently, talent alone may not suffice. This is where additional effort is needed to stand out and excel.

Hard work can make you a genius

Talent is indeed powerful, but it's not enough on its own. With proper training and high-quality teaching, people can become very skilled and even surpass those who rely solely on talent. While talent gives you an edge, it won't necessarily make you the best. Hard work is essential to take your talent to the next level.

Thanks for your time.

Have been ask many time to use my height for basket ball sport, apparently am not really good when it comes to tactic stuff, i do love anyone playing the sport though

I, certainly, agree with you that talent is great but only it only cannot take you far. You might not need to put too much handwork like others but it is a must for you to do if you are to smell success at all.

Your talent can showcase you but only your handwork will keep you limelight for a long period of time.

I indeed commend your attitude towards developing yourself particularly what you are keen about.
