Make it irresistible

If you are eating packaged, bagged, or sealed food, the food has likely been enhanced in some way because most of these companies treat their food as a product. When you're trying to sell a product, the first thing you'll be concerned about is making it better. The potato chips you fry at home would be different from the potato chips in a labeled bag, the ones in the bag would have been enhanced, as most of these companies have a dedicated team that works to make the product better. I'm not saying it's a bad thing to make your product better, but you are trying to follow the number one behavioral rule: to make it irresistible.

This concept applies to almost every aspect of life. When trying to create a habit, our goal is to make it irresistible for ourselves. For example, if you open a new shop to sell products, you will make sure it looks good and is very attractive because you understand how the human brain works. The same principle applies when meeting someone for the first time. You don't want them to see your bad side, so you will try to present yourself in a positive and presentable way. You ensure that you smell nice and look good. In essence, you are still following the law of making things irresistible. The same concept applies to habits. When you want to create a habit, you must make it irresistible.

Live it and love it

The main reason we can't stop eating junk food is because the taste is enhanced, and each time we have a bite, our brain creates dopamine for it. I have a friend who can't do without Coca-Cola, he always drinks at least one Coke every day. Big companies know these laws, and the number one thing is to make your product irresistible, and they can do that by enhancing the taste of their products. Most natural foods don't always give us this sensation. We can easily get tired of them, but when we try junk food, we just can't stop. The same thing goes for any behavior in this life, which is to make it irresistible.

When trying to form a habit, it's crucial to adhere to this first rule: make it irresistible. The habit should be so enjoyable that every time you engage in it, you never want to stop and instead, want to continue. The reason why people become addicted to social media is because the app is designed to be irresistible, making users want to keep using it. Similarly, the appeal of playing video games lies in their irresistibility, as players always want to keep playing. Therefore, it's important to make your habit irresistible to maintain it.

It is not hard

If you're trying to establish a habit that you don't enjoy doing, it will be hard to stick to it. Many people fail to make their habits stick because they don't trigger their dopamine. If you find a habit boring and unenjoyable, it means that something is missing. To make a habit stick, you need to make it more enjoyable and something you love doing, so that you want to do it over and over again until it becomes a habit.

thanks for your time.

Having a stickiness element to forming habits can sometimes best be achieved through establishing the worst possible outcome that can happen to us if we don't practice this habit. The thing with junk food is that despite knowing that it's bad, people tend to downplay it's consequences until it snowballs and compounds over time into something really disastrous.

I've been trying to find gym irresistible but I still never know the magic oo. Abi e get how Una take dey do am.

About that Coca-Cola if I eventually go heaven nah wetin I go first report to Baba God be that. Please cancel Coca-Cola, that shit kills and ruins our lives more than drugs and cancer but people find it pleasing and enjoyable like you said so they keep drinking without thinking about its long-term consequence.

To make going to the gym a habit you have to make it irresistible, I started off going to the gym by force but now I can't do without going. Most big food companies make their product irresistible but always comes with a cost.
