You all butthurt Hive ignored, but you all ignore the crucial element:
AUDIENCE.
Hive is too niche.
It's clearly easier to build something 'like Hive' ON TOP of Twitter that has already acquired A LARGE AUDIENCE.
Hive also can't scale.

You don't build something ON TOP of twitter, you need to build Twitter ON TOP of something. Having and audience helps for sure.
About scaling. Do you know what is the max capacity of transaction on hive? Splinterlands was doing a good amount of them in the bull market and hive did not even noticed it. Would be fun to see what is the limit.
I think he is mainly talking about the amount of accounts that can be created. There definitely is a limit for "free" accounts. Not sure if there is a limit for paid ones
if i am not wrong (not 100% on this) the limit is 14 characters and what ever the number of combinations you can get. so a lot.
