It doesn't matter if it's a CBDC or regular central banking.
Both those options are equally bad.
I know for a fact CBDC's aren't coming to retail banking in developed nations.
Developing nations and bank to bank transactions might be a different story.
Although it really makes no sense for banks to use CBDC to transfer value to other banks when they can just use Bitcoin. Like it makes sense for the bank sending the money but not the one that receives it. The banking sector needs a neutral platform, and Bitcoin is already there.
