I forgot to mention that the reason why many forms of communism don't work is because everything has to be controlled in a centralized manner. This is especially true if we try to eliminate money (which is a really dumb idea). Society must assign reputations to its members, and money is a baseline form of reputation that signals to everyone how much value someone is bringing to the table and taking away.
Using crypto it will be quite easy to create advanced communist/capitalist/socialist hybrid communities. For example, what happens when a community pops up that equally divides all value created by automation to all its members? Is that communism, capitalism, or socialism? Things like this are going to be created that don't actually fall into these pre-defined boxes.
