Okay so you cut military spending. Now a bunch of jobs get lost. How do you make up for that? There isn't a magic button we can push to fix these issues. If you take money away from one area there are dozens of unintended consequences.

Assuming military cuts for such that are pretty much overspending, job loss will be minimal for the army.
Though you can bring up the point of loss of jobs for lobbying and Washington defense engineers and and yes it most likely it would reduce jobs for those definitely. Assuming the for profit company want to fire workers to maintain profit.
And yes those jobs will be lost but that is a risk worth making.
Any gov plan will affect someone even more spending money does.
It should be worth mentioning that job loss will be minimal compared to the benefits it bring long term
There is no magic button anywhere. There are only more positive plans. I never said no one will be hurt but compared to right now this will hurt less people and help people more.
This is one of the more positive likely actions but this is also wishful thinking as the gov never really wants to do anything that helps the country long term. Won't get them elected. Such a pity
So you're sayin we should stop spending $10000 on toilet seats?
