BTC has a couple other key features as well:
- ability to turn excess energy that would be otherwise wasted into permanent stored value
- ability to reallocate that energy into heat to "double spend" it
- as collateral to print stablecoins from
- highest security and most uncensorable chain
- operations that can actually be read and confirmed
That last one is proving itself lately.
One of the biggest hacks that ETH has ever faced (ByBit) would have been completely avoided if smart contracts on ETH were actually readable and the user could see what it was doing. While Bitcoin asks "are you sure you want to send x BTC to y wallet" ETH/EVM just prompts hexadecimal gibberish. I guess this is a really nice thing about Hive as well in that custom JSON operations are totally readable.
Bitcoin will probably drop 50,000 in a single day, once U.S. Crypto Coinage is announced...
