You want to know what I like the most about Caracas... climbing the Avila and forgetting about the concrete streets for a couple of hours :)

its like a hike.
Please be safe.
It is the largest park in the city, there is a stream of water that falls down a large rock and forms a creek of crystal clear water, but it is not dangerous if done carefully.
Ok. Good to know you are very careful.
The description you just gave is mind blowing. Enjoy!
The river that is formed is called Quebrada Quintero, whenever I can I go up with my youngest son, we do not bathe in the icy water, because it is very cold hahaha.
You mean you can risk going up there with your younger son?
There is a dirt road at the beginning, then a rocky part, you get to another flat path and from there up to the river without problems, my son loves it, he is very adventurous hahaha
Wow!
You groomed him already. That's beautiful
El Avila and its magical energy, bathing in its waters is healing, the photography is spectacular!
Nothing better than going up to the mountain and breathing that fresh air from the heights and eating bread hahaha
That is a very special place to clear my mind, I love to climb to the top.
Yes, this is a magical place to clear your mind and forget the stress of everyday life.
We must go upstairs soon and bring your snacks, the child loves them more than me.
El Avila is one of my favorite things about Caracas as well.
It is a good place for recreation and great for snacks hahaha.
