Do you prefer to eat fruits on an empty stomach or after a main meal?
From someone who's been doing intermittent fasting and following a low-carb diet, it is better to eat fruits after a main meal, ideally lunch.
Fruits have a lot of sugar even though it is a natural sugar it will give you a short-term energy source and it will break your ketosis state (if you are on an empty stomach for a while) which is a better and long-term energy source where it turns your inner fat into energy :)

I prefer to eat fruits for breakfast or dinner (especially bananas for easy bowel movement the next morning). If I need to break a fast, I use fruits or make them into smoothies.
A few times I eat fruits after a main meal like garden eggs. Now my body is used to taking fruits more on an empty stomach.
