We await External Auditors at my office, and we've been trying our possible best to put as much in order before they eventually arrive. They usually don't announce their coming, so we've virtually been expecting them at the beginning of every new week for the last couple of weeks. At first there were some weeks that I felt we needed more time to get ready and ensure preparedness, but at this moment am more concerned about having to wait endlessly for their coming.
Yes, patience is a virtue that is proven in all areas of life, from crypto all the way to the physical World. Waiting isn't a sign of loss but of potential gain should things fall into place. That said, I believe that if something sticks out as a pending issue then it probably is better to be addressed first before we decide to move on. Of course adequate readiness at all times is necessary, but if we are readying ourselves because of a specific hurdle in our fronts, I believe the earlier we choose to clear it the better.
Of course there's another angle to patience and preparedness that we shouldn't take for granted. When there is a long distance or continuous goal to be met, then there Isn't a need to tackle anything prematurely. We are rather faced with an obligation to maintain consistency throughout the cycle in order to produce the kind of results that we want. I certainly hope that our audit is done and dusted within the coming week, but I'll take a cue from my other pursuits and be prepared at all times incase they continue to keep us waiting.
Aren't company audits usually done in coordination with auditors? We do pre-planning with our auditors and weekly calls to discuss issues.
