Hello everyone, on my todays article I'll love to talk little about bandwidth and resource credit when it comes to cryptocurrency.

Bandwidth in blockchain refers to the amount of data that can be transferred over a network within a specific timeframe. It represents the network's ability to handle and transmit information effectively.

THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF BANDWIDTH ARE:

• Network Bandwidth
• Bandwidth
• Size and Bandwidth
• Limit and Bandwidth

RESOURCE CREDIT (RC)

Recourse credit (RC) represents an individual’s ability to utilize network resources and perform actions on the platform such as posting, commenting, transferring funds, voting, etc. The more powerful or capable the account, the more RCs it will have.

Each account on the blockchain is allocated a certain number of RCs based on the amount of Hive Power (SP) held in the account. This allocation is calculated based on the current price of HP and the amount of HP held by the account.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BANDWIDTH AND RESOURCE CREDIT

Bandwidth refers to the amount of network capacity an account or application is allowed to use on the blockchain. It is measured in bytes per second.

On the other hand, resource credit represent an individual's allocation of network resources. They are used to measure and allocate resources such as CPU and network bandwidth for performing actions on the blockchain.

I believe I've educated someone with my little article. On my next article I'll love to dive into or write fully about resource credit, and I know it will really help someone here, maybe our new comer's.
