I remember the time when I joined the Hive. I got the suggestions from the friends in the read.cash and noise.cash. I created the account and then later applied for the faucet's delegation during the initial period.
After some time, I got the delegation from a few friends at LeoTalk, including Kevin and a few others. All this pushed me towards getting my content out there and earning some curation rewards.
I am thankful to those who have helped me earn some rewards during the initial phase. Because without the help of other people during the initial times, it is not easy to grow.
So how come we grow our Hive Wallet? How can we get our account progress ahead? I am not an expert, nor a dolphin yet, or even any other big fish. I have just learned a few things that helped me break those 0 HP days. So I wish to share my experience with you.
Hive Power is Important
Your involvement at Hive is all dependent on Hive power. The more you have it, the more you have power over curation and the rewards that come with it. When I started on Hive, I had 0 Hive power as usual. So I had to get the power to get something from my curation.
Hive power is also necessary because your activity resources are under control using the same. I have found Hive power to be useful while daily posting. Because if you are not over 50HP, you would eventually struggle to do upvotes, content, and comments.
If you are new to Hive, make sure to get the delegation from the faucets that are out there. You can also ask for a delegation from some of the tribe members. That may or may not work out for you, but you can always give that a try and see if anyone gives you an initial boost.
Curate, Curate, and Curate
The best part about the Hive is reading and curating some excellent content. The delegation accounts often boost much content in Leofinance and Hive, and often it is not up to the mark. However, if you want better content in your feed, make sure to curate.
It helps when you read the content of that new Hive and the Leofinance writers and try to get their viewpoint. Curating that content would be good for the ecosystem, and it would help new authors too.
Curation also earns the tribe rewards. Like curating the Leofinance would earn you LEO tokens, Proof of Brain earns you POB and other tokens. You have to curate the content and build your account slowly through actions of curation.
Delegation
Once you earn around, say, 500 HP or so. You can start delegating your Hive power to the curator accounts. This would earn you some rewards in the form of Hive. This also means that your Hive power earning through curation pays off.
I have plans to delegate to leovoter and a few other curation accounts. Not just for rewards but also to put my Hive power to good use. Because there are times when we cannot be active all the time.
Moreover, when we are not active in creating content or commenting and other means, that Hive power is not usable. So, delegation is always a good idea for those who want to get the most out of the Hive power.
What do you think?
We all start from zero. I have reached 300+ HP so far. Moreover, I have plans to grow the HP even more so that I can delegate further.
How about you? How was your journey in Hive?

i just started my journey at the hive, almost a month ago and published a few articles, so far due to my busy schedule as being a student. I believe engagement is the key to success at any platform rather its noise, read or hive.
Good luck to you in achieving 500 hp or more so you can hive that power
