I think one of the biggest things Hive is currently missing are customizable niche frontends. This has been on my mind for a while now. I have made several attempts to create a working prototype for my father's bar. I think it is about time I seek the help of others and admit where my skill set falls short.
Customizable Frontends
I imagine different companies, content-creators, and brands coming to Hive and easily creating a custom frontend for their target audience. On these they can choose to have their own token, algorithms, and styles. I picture brands creating frontends to interact with their customers and earning rewards. Those rewards are then spent in-house with those bands. I see independent journalists creating frontends for their articles, podcasts, and speaking events.
4th Street Bar as an example
My Dad runs a bar in Reno called the 4th Street Bar. I'd love to have a frontend on Hive created for his bar where his patrons and bartenders can engage. His bartenders already post on Facebook daily to let their crowd know when they are working and what the specials are. I think they'd be better served posting onto their custom frontend and sharing those posts to Facebook. On this 4th Street Bar frontend both the bartenders and customers will earn rewards for engaging with one another. They can then spend those rewards using V4V.app at the bar for drinks or merchandise.
Content Creators
My older brother has been an active participant in the comedy scene out here in Las Vegas for years. He has been working with a group lately making comedy sketch videos and posting them onto Instagram. I would love to be able to create a custom frontend for their comedy group. This would act as their website where they can post and share all their content directly. Their fans can engage with them on here as well. All the while both parties are earning rewards for their engagement.
This is where you come in
I have dove into learning programming with the sole purpose of creating this. I have used different AI tools to assist me in areas I fall short. Even with these tools I have struggled to create anything worthwhile. I am requesting the help from the Hive community.
I can use your help to develop a subscription API that allows users to create custom frontends on Hive using technologies like HTMX. This API will enable frontend creators to focus on customization, user engagement, and rewards without having to build the backend infrastructure from scratch.

A creator having their token... like a "Creator Coin" is a cool thing to have as a creator. It's something that a creator will be able to tip or use to incentivize the other user who will engage or interact within the creator's frontend. Something similar to how !BEER & !PIZZA is being tipped to other users.

Regarding the Creator Coins, will you propose it to have it listed in Hive-engine and make it tradeable?
Someone on Twitter mentioned @superhive to me. It seems like there is already a group working on this. I'm just going to throw my support behind them.
I just checked the account and it looks like someone has been working on it for quite some time now. I hope that they will be able to launch it.
@etblink: Any luck with SuperHive? I know that the original developer @bambukah posted about open-sourcing all of his Hive projects.It would be great if all of his projects continued.
I have played with it a bit, but I am not a developer, just a vocal advocate. In the meantime, I have been using Breakaway Communities. They just had an update that makes set-up much easier.

I'm also not a developer, which I know is a big shortcoming. I've tried to look at programming and it just isn't something that makes sense to me. Which is why I greatly appreciate the folks who build worlds with their coding skills.
I heard about Breakaway Communities and thought it would be a good fit for National Podcast Post Month #NaPodPoMo. I already have a regular community here on Hive https://peakd.com/c/hive-128305, but a Hive front-end for the annual podcast challenge would be especially cool.
