Normally when we talk about trading, complex graph analysis comes to mind to draw trend lines and somehow try to project towards where the future price is observed in a certain time range, and although there is also a lot of that, Little is said about the temperament and the attitude to have towards this activity.
It is right there where I begin to explain to my friends, since looking for freedom one can get trapped, and I do not mean precisely to lose money, since one can be winning and still be trapped there, imprisoned by market fluctuations because of undefined time.
Trading is exciting and that is why it is also easy to get hooked. When we talk about strategies in trading it is very important to also specify how we are going to invest our time, after all, time is our finite non-renewable resource, so we must invest it and weigh it at its fair value.
In my personal experience I see that if I spend many hours following the market I start to lose prospects, sometimes it is good to withdraw a little to refresh the mind and also enjoy the fruits, or heal the wounds. Excessive enthusiasm to keep winning or recovering from a loss can lead to loss of objectivity and even misdirection.
In my case I am looking for financial freedom and that is closely linked to being able to enjoy the time at my disposal and not by imposition, and the market is active for 2 hours, so you set the limits.
That is why the time factor is decisive not only for the analysis of graphs but also for personal management and emotionality in trading, this is not always reflected in the ROI.

I know what you mean. I'm looking to earn enough to get out of the rat race early, but I've noticed that I'm spending so much free time trying to earn that extra that I'm not enjoying my now. The key is finding a good balance.
