To be successful in your business you need more than money. We can't underestimate the fact that money is one of the most important things for a business to run smoothly because in some ways it determines the level of success you will attain. But as an entrepreneur there are other qualities we have to have to make us successful in our businesses. These are things that make us different or outstanding from others doing the same business with us.
Money can make way for us to showcase our beautiful ideas to the world but in the long run you will discover that money alone can't keep the business going, it might get boring along the way then you will look for a support system to hold you back.
Build relationships.
One of the reasons why you see other here making it is because they have built a good relationship over the years, some people are motivated by their friends here to do more because sometimes it's discouraging to write down something and not get voted as expected, but one of the things that we keep you pushing is when you see your friends still pushing. Build a good relationship; this may be the only thing that will keep you going.
Sometimes you wonder why some people always come around to buy something from you, not because you are the only one selling, but because you have built a good connection and relationship with them.
Business relationship may not necessary be our personal character sometimes it our professionalism, the other day I was buying something from someone in the act of packaging the stuff for me some part fell on the floor and he was telling sorry, well I felt pity for him and I wasn't angry I paid but there are some people who will not pay because of that one mistake, we just have to upgrade ourselves in whatever we do, try and master the act of whatsoever we are doing, be creative and something new to what you have already.
You must be able to solve problems that may arise between us and the customer, that will make them build trust. Some people will feel very comfortable having you around because they know you could help out or suggest a way out. This is when you build relationships, create a safe space for you and your customer, you never can tell what little help you offer can go a long way to putting things in the right path, and we never can tell who God has brought out a way that will be a blessing to us. Be intentional about building relationships.
Building relationships in business is not just about the numbers and the bottom line, it's about the connections you make and the trust you build with your customers. This is something that can't be quantified, but is absolutely crucial to long-term success.
Precisely because businesses that can foster strong relationships with their customers are more likely to see repeat business and referrals.
More businesses should definitely adopt this holistic view.
