Yep. HBD is stable enough to be quite useful. I have some accounts my automation software (Karaka in GitHub) maintains a min balance of HBD by selling HIVE. That's great when those accounts have regular payments for external services in fiat. I also have another that balances the amount (not USD value) of HIVE and HBD to give a bit more price stability to that account's holdings. Coupled with hive chain's savings facility savings: I'm going to look at an adding an automated accumulation policy: save HIVE when low, sell hive for HBD and save HBD when HIVE is high, and vice versa.
