64 Days Clock Starts Ticking Today: New Challenge.

in LeoFinance17 hours ago

Hello all, Falcon here. Putting together a blog to share my thoughts on the way forward for me with my journey on this platform. I have honestly been reading a lot about this blockchain (Hive in general) lately. I have been on for a while but didn't really understand the bigger picture, but as time goes on, I'm starting to see what this is all about. Not to say I have come to a full understanding, but I have come to an understanding enough to make a future decision.

What Really Matters Here

When I first got in, I read a couple of blogs and comments from people telling me how to succeed on this platform. Some said build rep, others said engage a lot, others said don't over-engage else it will be seen as spamming, and many other tips. All of them have their relevance and are very important to follow through. But upon observing many accounts and watching the OGs (those who've been here from the Genesis), I have come to the full conclusion that the best advice to really unlock the full potential of this blockchain is to build and own power.

Power here meaning buying Hives, Leo, and the rest, which I will be looking more into later on, and staking them.

Why Should I Do It?

If you've been reading my blogs lately, you know that I have been yada-yaddaing about Leo power. After I got to my goal for last week by hitting a little over 30K Leo (not much, but something), I began to feel the way people with stake feel:

  • You're a support to others.
  • You're earning passively while enjoying or consuming content unlike other Web2 platforms.
  • You're mindful of what others are doing on the platform since you're invested in it (don't want someone ruining it).
  • Don't know about you, but my hunger for more keeps growing.
  • You get more involved and concerned about decisions being made (joining almost every AMA).
  • Above all, you're seen as a staker and not a taker. (Nothing wrong with being a taker, but if you understand the tokenomics of this chain a little bit, you'd know what I mean. If you don't, then I will make a separate blog for you upon request in the comment section.)
  • Your say matters, and that's full decentralization.
  • Supporting your favorite projects to get the DHF.
  • Many more which I will talk about in later blogs.

In a nutshell, all these potentials happen to those who stake. The more you stake, the more you earn, kind of thing.

What About Quality Posts?

Don't get me wrong, quality posts reign supreme (maybe) as they're what draw attention to this chain. A social media platform is all about viewer retention, and that's gotten through creating good content.

So Falcon isn't saying build power and create "shit posts". (Although I reserve my comments on that for another day.)

But overall, creating good content and showing a sense of long-term commitment to the platform might get other big stakers to notice you and help you achieve.

That's not a fact, though, just my opinion. And besides, since I started stacking, I don't really see any whales spending their time to read my blogs except for the Inleo team. Prove me wrong that you (Mr. Whales) read people's blogs and upvote them by leaving a juicy upvote on this blog, then I will be persuaded.

It's a win-win, not a manipulation.

I get a nice upvote which will be staked obviously, and you get to prove to any reader that you care about quality posts. (Not to say my post is quality, as quality is subjective) but I think you get my challenge.

Alright, Away from All That:

The main purpose of this blog is to announce my next goal.

Yeah, I achieved the goal of 30K Leo which I said I would make reference to this Sunday if I did.

So What's Next:

I have decided to push the boundaries for myself a little bit this time. I wrote a long blog yesterday about goal setting which talked about not setting ridiculous goals that can end you up discouraged if not achieved, but set goals 30% beyond your comfort zone.

Now this one is a little tricky because I can't judge the future price of Leo and Hive, but I'm willing to take the risk to dare to set it. And yeah, I'm still proving if the law of attraction works as I will be constantly thinking and working on getting it.

For Leo

I have decided to take my 30K LP to 50K before the end of Q1 of 2024. This means I will need to invest 20K to achieve it by the end of March 2025. I should be rocking over 50K LP by the 1st of April.

Leader of the pack according to the Inleo rankings.

For Hive

Now I haven't really been talking much about my Hive power, but a couple of hours ago before writing this blog, I began to have a similar desire to build my Hive power too. Hive is the native token and the Layer 1 of Inleo, so if I'm going in the long run, why not build an HP too? It just makes sense to do. Also, I will be putting together a blog to explain why I will be going super big on Hive power later this week.

But for now, my current HP is a little over 300 (very bad). This means my LP is 100X my HP. As time goes on, I would want to make sure that I balance things out, but not necessarily reduce the speed. I will put myself under much more pressure to get both at the same speed if it means I have to work overtime to do so. In the long run, my LP should be 10X my HP. So if I set a goal of 100K LP, then automatically a goal for 10K HP is set (not saying that's the goal for this year though).

I'm putting a challenge to myself to achieve a minimum of 1K HP also before the end of Q1 of 2024 (March ending). As such, all my blogs are set to 100% HP from now onwards.
So if you upvote this content you will be helping me achieve this goal and I will be forever grateful to you.

Thanks in advance.

I just asked ChatGPT how many days from today to that day, and it said this:

There are 64 days from today to the end of March 2025.

So there you have it, or should I say I have it. I have 64 days to write another celebration blog of this achievement.

Again, I don't have money sitting there waiting to buy and come and tell you guys I have achieved it. No, I'm going to work hard in my work both out and on-chain, but mainly out since I can make more there currently 😁.

Why am I writing super long blogs these days? I'll leave it here.

Thank you for taking time to read. I would love to read and upvote any comment you leave below. Have a great day and enjoy the rest of the weekend.
