I made some threads a couple of days ago about this. It's unfortunate for the masses but we are living in an attention economy. Money goes to where attention is. They don't care how they get it, as long as they can gather the audience.
So stuff like controversial talks, debates, fomo speeches has a way of hooking the human brain. It's psychology their using for their self interest.
