Yep. All in the US, we have ponds on each side although few use that term on the Pacific.
I use it for all ponds 😅 Probably wrongly, but hey ho!
I dont talk to many on the other side of the other pond so I dont use it.
Well there was one girl who was as wet as a pond...oh nevermind.
